The Indigo Kings in the press and other exciting updates...

Kickstarter is FUNDED and we're making the music video on 2nd June!

16h May 2013

Kickstarting our way to a music video
Making music videos is no easy feat and it sure is an expensive process. That's why we've enlisted the help of Kickstarter.com to 'crowd fund' enough money to make a video for our upcoming single 'When I turn out the light'.
It works by members of the public pledging an amount such as £10 and in return, getting a unique gift from the band such as signed merchandise, watching the video being filmed, singing on stage with the band etc. If the target is not met, nobody pays anything.

Kickstarter is the market leader in this industry and the idea is an overnight success, a great new way for funding to be given to arts projects by people who feel passionate about it.

The Indigo Kings music video project is now live and we're attempting to raise £600 to make our music video. The project end date is 15th May 2013.

If you want to get involved (and we hope you do) you can check out the project at

Thanks!
TIK

The first review of our debut album...
Juke Blues Magazine reviewed 'against a brick wall' this month. Here is the verdict:

"Vocals are [...] central to the sound of TIK's, a septet from Worcestershire boasting two female singers, Caroline Boucher and Talitha Cole. All of the songs on this, their first album were written by Al Symers and they are mostly medium-tempo minor key melodramas, telling of two-timers and mean mistreaters, with the occasional more pop-orientated number thrown in. Working both individually and in tandem, Boucher and Cole attack them with verve and swagger, giving the record much of it's distinctive character. In accompaniment, Martin Howe's piano is the dominant presence, though he also takes an occasional well-judged solo, as on "I'll Get Used To You". Christian O'Connells blues-drenched guitar is heard to advantage on "Good-To Be Bad" and Emma Stone contributes some sterling soprano saxophone to "The Word Love"."
